‘Healthly Options’ is one component of the ‘Eastern Shore Healthy Communities’,

a program funded by the Virginia Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to encourage healthy living.

With a high percentage of obesity in this area, especially among children and young adults, ‘Healthly Options’ wanted to create a variety of materials to raise public awareness and to promote restaurants participating in the ‘Healthy Options’ program. Materials included a placemats, a rack card, menu stickers, advertisments. 

After initial meeting we designed an ad with participating restaurants and emailed design proof. We tested the header: Taste the Good Life on the ad layouts. Our client loved the phrase and requested that it be used on all collaterol pieces in the ‘Healthy Options’ program. Next we designed a rack card and placemat. Folio recommended and illustrated a map marking restaurant locations, and provided content and puzzle for right 2/3 of the placemat.
